Eames Plywood Table

Charles and Ray Eames designed the molded plywood coffee table in 1946 to complement their famous molded plywood chairs. Lightweight and movable, this imaginative table is unmistakably Eames with its thin, slightly indented top and gently curved legs.

Lean and Simple
Round top. Three strong, lightweight hardwood inner plies are sandwiched between natural face veneers.

Curved legs. Eight-ply molded plywood with natural face veneers.

Veneer choices. Cherry, walnut, natural cherry, ash, or ebony-stained ash.

Nice size. 865mm in diameter, 380mm high.

Functional Art
Three looks: The center section of the stool comes in three distinctively sculpted profiles.

Either side up: The top surface and the smaller bottom surface are both concave.

Compact size: The stool is 380mm high; top diameter is 330mm; bottom diameter is 280mm
