Chairs with Castors VS Chairs Without Castors
If your desk or work surface is quite wide (i.e. you can’t reach the edge when sitting in the middle), you need an office chair with castors as this will help to provide you with increased mobility in your workspace and reduce the strain caused by having to stretch in order to reach things. If you do decide to get a rolling chair, make sure the wheelbase is well-built and that it easily glides across the floor. A chair without castors should only be used as a visitor’s chair as these desk chairs are not recommended for working at desks.
